Drawing Night

'드로잉나잍’은 부산의 언더그라운드 클럽 올모스트페이머스에서 열렸던 불특정다수가 참여한 드로잉 커넥션이었습니다. 유흥공간이라는 특성상 유동인구가 적었던 목요일을 활용해 비어있는 클럽 공간을 조금 더 유효하게 만들어보고자했고, 기본적인 그리기의 도구를 준비하고 매주 목요일마다 드로잉의 주제를 달리하였습니다. 참여한 사람들의 그림들은 페이스북 페이지에 실시간으로 올려져 그 주에 가장 많은 ‘좋아요’를 받은 드로잉의 주인에게 소정의 상품이 지급되었습니다.

'Drawing Night' was an event that created a connection through drawing. It was held 30 times at underground club which was called 'Almost Famous' in Busan, South Korea. Every each events had weekly drawing theme. The drawing of participants was displayed on the Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/DrawingNi9ht) in real time, and  a free drink ticket was paid to the drawing that got the most likes in the week. It was quite atmosphere due to nature of the club during weekdays rather than weekends and I wanted to use the club space differently. Also It was attempt to lower the barriers to drawing by allowing the unspecified number to participate.

Errortic Collectors

'Errortic Collectors' prefer 'error' to represent the collective, for its simple yet effective explanation of the novice status of the group. The music players, though the term ‘collector’ is preferred. The reason the term “collector” is preferred is that the players come from different career backgrounds and they have each collected their own diverse music collections. They are amateur DJs who want to share with others songs that they personally enjoy. The aim for this party is to create a comfortable atmosphere for anyone eager to listen to different genres of music: Psychedelic, Progressive Rock, Reggae, Dub, Chillwave, Hip Hop. It will cover time periods ranging from the 1960s to 2000s.

Moving Kitchen - Made in Us

'전수된부엌'이 열렸던 하동집은 이미 맥이 끊어져버린 부산 최초의 국밥집이었다. 이렇게 주변에서 목격되는 대부분의 이별들은 급작스러움으로 인한 단절들로 우리를 엄습해온다. 늘 가던 공터는 흔적도 없이 사라지고 개인들의 신체에 깃든 동선과 그 장소가 맺던 시간들은 여지없이 중단되기 일쑤였다. 심지어 내 옆에 있었던 동료들도, 가깝게 만나온 사람들도 부지불식간에 연락이 닿지 않고 더 이상 만날 수 없게 되는 일도 있었다. 분절되고 파편화된 관계는 나의 곁에서도 단박에 찾을 수 있었으니, 국밥집 하나가 사라졌다는 소식에 호들갑을 떠는 건 지나친 일이라기보다 우리 삶의 관계가 피상적인 것에 머물러있다는 암시를 주는 듯 했다. 

소통의 관계를 의식적으로 운동화 시켜보는 것. 우리의 존재를 생산해내는 가장 일상적인 활동에서부터 시작해봤다. 무빙트리엔날레의 주말살롱프로젝트를 통해 엄마의 음식을 전수 받을 이들을 모으고 다 같이 음식을 만드며, 부엌을 돌봄의 공간으로 재구성해보았다. 사유화된 부엌에서 벗어나 전수를 받고 공유를 함으로써 부엌을 통한 엄마와 나 그리고 우리 사이의 분절을 이어보며 회복에 대한 시도이기도 하다.

프로젝트 '방사능박'은 반핵페스티발 전 사람들에게 기부받은 양말로 오재미를 만들고, 축제현장에서 방사능을 상징하는 박을 시민들과 다함께 터뜨리고 행진하는 퍼포먼스였다.
